Custom Magnetics, Built for Critical Applications

Design, manufacture, and refurbishment of transformers, inductors, and magnetic assemblies for industrial and legacy systems.

High-reliability for harsh environments

Custom new and legacy replacements & reverse engineering. Built By-Spec. Designed for long service life. Global deployment experience. UL recognized.

Power & Control Transformers

Power and control transformers are designed for industrial power distribution, control, and isolation applications, with typical power ratings up to 1 MVA. Designs support single-phase and three-phase configurations, with custom primary and secondary voltages, multiple windings, and tap arrangements as required. Transformers may be supplied in open-frame or enclosed constructions, with insulation systems and thermal design selected based on operating duty cycle and environmental conditions. Applications include battery chargers, UPS systems, switchgear, control panels, and replacement of legacy or obsolete equipment.

Inductors, Chokes, & Reactors

Inductors, chokes, and reactors are engineered for current limiting, filtering, and energy storage in AC and DC power systems. Designs include line and load reactors, smoothing chokes, and harmonic mitigation solutions for power electronics and motor drive applications. Core materials and winding configurations are selected to meet inductance, current, and thermal requirements, with open or enclosed constructions available to suit the installation environment. These components are commonly used in power supplies, converters, VFD systems, and industrial noise reduction applications.

Custom Wound Magnetics

Custom wound magnetics are developed for applications requiring non-standard electrical, mechanical, or environmental characteristics. This includes form-fit-function replacements for obsolete equipment, as well as new designs tailored to specific system requirements. Capabilities range from prototype development to low- and medium-volume production, with custom winding configurations, insulation systems, and mechanical integration options. Solutions may be supplied as open-frame or enclosed assemblies, supporting both retrofit and OEM applications in demanding industrial environments.

Requirement Review

Every project starts with a technical review of the application, operating environment, and performance requirements. We work directly with engineering teams to understand electrical characteristics, duty cycles, mechanical constraints, and compliance needs. Whether the goal is a new design or a form-fit-function replacement, requirements are defined upfront to avoid surprises later.

03

Manufacturing or refurbishment

Magnetics are manufactured in-house or refurbished from existing units using controlled processes and quality materials. This includes custom winding, insulation replacement, core reassembly, and mechanical restoration. For legacy or obsolete equipment, reverse engineering allows us to reproduce or extend the life of existing designs without compromising reliability.

02

Design / Reverse Engineering

Based on the application, we develop a magnetic solution using proven core materials, winding techniques, and insulation systems. Designs may be open-frame or enclosed, depending on environmental, safety, and integration requirements. When applicable, designs are aligned with recognized safety and compliance standards, including UL considerations, to support use in regulated and mission-critical systems.

04

Testing & Delivery

Completed units undergo inspection and electrical testing to verify performance against specifications. Testing may include continuity, insulation resistance, and functional verification as required by the application. Units are then prepared for delivery, with documentation available to support installation, maintenance, and long-term service.
